Hi all.
We have officially started our trip, its pretty surreal at the moment. We are adjusting to waking up being fed by family and friends before returning back to slumber haha. Opened up our first bag of Rashuns and washed them down with a Tui on Sunday. That was a real reminder that we are home.
Had a great rendezvous with Pete who helped us pass the time in Melbourne Airport. Was great to see him briefly before we embark on our voyage.
We were welcomed by Selina & Paul in Auckland. Had a great Sunday drive down to Piha and relaxed at their place out in the woups.
Today we are planning the rest of our time in NZ. If there is one lesson to be learnt it is that even the best laid plans might not go to order. We hadn't taken into account the All Blacks might be playing right here in New Plymouth on the 12th... might have to have another look at the itinerary Saff.
